General Mental Health program: The general mental health program offers short-term services for young people experiencing mild to moderate challenges.

GPs and medical professionals making referrals into this program should complete a MHTP.

Early Psychosis program: This program ensures the provision of early intervention, responsive, and recovery focused care for young people who are at high risk of or are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.  This is based on the Early Psychosis Prevention and Intervention Centre (EPPIC) model of care.

The program provides rapid and assertive/outreach assessment and treatment, usually within 24 hours of referral and operates 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm (including public holidays).

If you have any questions or would like to make an Early Psychosis referral over the phone, please contact the Early Psychosis Mobile Assessment and Treatment Team on 0475 989 619 or 1800 063 267.

Please note with both programs, we request that hospitals and health professionals attach current risk assessment, discharge summary or any other relevant documentation for the young person being referred.
